Integrated Project for –Lives Green of Environmental Protection and Resources Recycling

This project hopes to achieve the goal of zero waste recycling and to stimulate different aspects of innovation and thought from all walks of life by hosting the “green living and recycling” advocacy project that focuses on a national recycling promotion theme song competition, which is further broken down into 3 sections, the “green idea original lyrics competition,” the “nonstop singing contest,” and the “recycling photo diary collection.” Among them, the green ideas lyrics competition received 361 submissions, the nonstop singing contest had a total of 151 people signing up including social groups and student groups, and the recycling photo diary collection had 190 submissions. These 3 sections had a total of 702 competitors who participated and through open judging and voting, a total of 91 trophies and a total prize money of 578,500NTD were awarded. All nominated lyrics were put on the official website for a popularity poll, which attracted nearly 5000 votes, and 9 online users were awarded 15,000NTD prize money and prizes. To encourage the public to join and participate in these competitions, a total of 5 promotional forums were held in the north, middle, and south of Taiwan and reached around 870 people. An official website was established, continuously updated, and over 53000 people have visited since the website has launched. To increase the recycling rate of scrap motor vehicles and advocating the responsible businesses to register and pay, 4 short films were separately made for 2 groups, the “scrap motor vehicles” and the “responsible businesses.” Each group contains one 3-minute promotion video and one 30 seconds commercial. The “scrap motor vehicle” commercial was aired on 5 TV stations, including TVBS, Chinese Television System, Eastern Broadcasting Company, Unique Satellite TV, and Era Communications from December 20th 2010 to December 26th 2010, a total of 137 spots. The GRP (Gross Rating Point) of airing reached 26.35, the estimated target group reached percentage (1+ Reach) has reached 17.8%, and the average commercial frequency (F.q) has reached 1.5. This project has coordinated with posters and props to communicate messages regarding environmental policies and activity. A total of 2 kinds of DM for the activity and environmental policies, 5 posters, 7 easy pull banners, and designed mobile display cases that are easy to carry and explain.
